Floppy Crafts

I have recently noted that my new computer doesn’t have a floppy drive. So what’s a man to do with all his old floppies? Well, he can make a model starship enterprise, a 5 1/2″ floppy disk quilt or a photo cube. I chose the former and with my assistant made the below beauties over my lengthy lunch break of a lean-cuisine and roundy’s apple juice.

Dirk Watkins was born in Door County. He studied computer science and art at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Dirk now works as a web developer in Milwaukee programming mostly in C#, Javascript, T-SQL and the occasional regular expression.
